Taking part in a Tall Ships voyage can be the most incredible and memorable experience of a young person's life. That is why we are so excited to be able to offer the opportunity to undertake one of these voyages onboard Olga in the summer of 2021!

Description
The Tall Ships Race is an annual event organised by Sail Training International. It's an event where sailing boats of all types, from all around the world, all crewed by young people gather together to race and sail. More importantly, they gather to provide challenge, international friendship and fun for young people!
​
Each leg of the event starts and ends in a different city, with the 2021 event taking place along the English Channel, across the North Sea and in the Baltic Sea. Each voyage will involve lots of sailing - with two teams of young people on board doing watches on a rota so Olga can sail across the seas. Plus each voyage will involve time spent on Olga alongside - where there are plenty of special events and activities laid on for the crew. From excursions to local beauty spots to sport activities, from crew parties to crew parades and prize givings - there is something for everybody!

However, the best part about Tall Ships is the opportunity to come together with young people from all over the world on some truly amazing sail training vessels. It is a rare opportunity to experience true international friendship, understanding and harmony.

Cost
​
Each voyage in the Tall Ships event costs differently depending on its length. If you would like to find out more, please do be in touch and the details of the cost of each voyage can be discussed.

What is included
​
Included in the price of the voyage is all accommodation, food and refreshments on board, qualified sea staff, sailing instruction, personal safety equipment, use of waterproof jacket and trousers as well as entry into all Tall Ships Race events and activities.
Not included is the cost of travel to and from Olga at the beginning and end of the voyage, travel insurance or spending money ashore.

Young people must be aged 16 or over to participate in the Tall Ships event on board Olga.
